Berthoud WiFi consultation

Built on real-world infrastructure and security leadership

Berthoud WiFi is backed by owners with more than 30 years of combined hands-on experience designing, building, supporting, and improving networks and technology infrastructure. That background lets us look beyond a single access point or speed test and consider the full system: internet service, cabling, switching, WiFi coverage, cameras, access control, security, reliability, and future growth.

Steve Smith brings more than 15 years of IT leadership experience, including support for environments with 700+ users and responsibility for technology programs and infrastructure projects valued up to $2 million. His work spans UniFi and Meraki networks, servers, cloud platforms, camera systems, physical access control, cybersecurity oversight, vendor and SaaS risk, incident readiness, privacy, and day-to-day IT operations.

That enterprise experience now supports two connected parts of the business: professional infrastructure services and cybersecurity risk consulting. Whether the need is a dependable network or a defensible security roadmap, recommendations are practical, appropriately scaled, and built around the organization’s real priorities.

  • Honest recommendations without unnecessary equipment
  • UniFi-first networking, cameras, and access solutions

Owners in the field

The people planning the work also understand the work.

Berthoud WiFi is built on hands-on installation experience. Steve and Jack work in the real environments behind the recommendations—from elevated coverage locations to network closets and structured cabling.
